DefaultButton in a Panel inside an ajax UpdatePanel

The DefaultButton does not act properly on browsers other than MS IE. I guess that the WebForm_FireDefaultButton is the main problem. When I override this function by one that i wrote the problem becomes solved.

Could you post the fix you made please? Right now I'm about to pull out the update panels on my page because I must have default button working under firefox.
